Day One of Doll House Camp was a blast!

We had the BEST time kicking off our week of creativity with an amazing group of kids! Today was all about dreaming up designs, picking out paint colors, and getting started on our doll house masterpieces. It’s so fun to see each child’s unique style and imagination come to life!

Kramer’s memorial is this Saturday, and our hearts are heavy as we prepare to say goodbye to such a special boy! He was a dear friend to my daughter and to so many others. At just 12 years old, he brought so much light, laughter, and kindness into the world. We will miss his bright spirit deeply!

The last picture I posted of him holds a memory forever etched in my heart. I remember snapping it to send to Betsy—Molly was trailing behind her class during Western Day, not wanting me to leave her school party. Without saying a word, Kramer quietly walked back, took her hand, and made sure she wasn’t alone at the back of the line. He just instinctively knew how to comfort her. That was exactly who he was—kind, thoughtful, and full of heart!

Please keep his family and friends in your prayers as we all try to hold each other close and carry his memory with love!

2024 started with magic down at Disney’s gates,
Turned to sorrow when Uncle Ken entered heavens gates.
A new life came—my nephew was born,
While a cousin found love on a warm May morn.

Country concerts lit up the summer sky,
Danced to the rhythm while the months rolled by.
Held a friend’s hand through some darkened days,
Learning that faith walks in heavy ways.

A tumor showed up in the eye of the storm,
Bean-sized and scary, yet somehow reborn.
Through the tests, the doctors, and all the fear,
Still found reasons to celebrate this wild, wild year.

Now I’m standing tall in my new art studio,
Dreaming up colors, letting creativity flow.
This year’s been hard, but it’s been sweet too,
A melody of hope, and all we’ve been through.

Held a friend’s hand through some darkened days,
Learning that faith walks in heavy ways.

A tumor showed up in the eye of the storm,
Bean-sized and scary, yet somehow reborn.
Through the tests, the doctors, and all the fear,
Still found reasons to celebrate this wild, wild year.

Now I’m standing tall in my new art studio,
Dreaming up colors, letting creativity flow.
This year’s been hard, but it’s been sweet too,
A melody of hope, and all we’ve been through.
